Providence, Rhode Island – November 6, 2014 – Decof, Barry, Mega & Quinn, a leading Rhode Island personal injury law firm, is pleased to announce that half of its attorneys have been named 2014 New England “Super Lawyers” and “Rising Stars.” After an evaluation on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, Mark B. Decof Esq. and Patrick C. Barry Esq. were named to the Super Lawyers list, while Michael P. Quinn, Jr. Esq., Douglas E. Chabot Esq. and Marshall M. Raucci Esq. were named to the Rising Stars list, which recognizes attorneys age 40 and under or those in practice 10 years or less.
Ranked the best of the best, Mr. Decof and Mr. Barry have been named two of the Top 10 Super Lawyers in Rhode Island, receiving the highest point totals in the RI nomination, research and blue ribbon review process among all practice areas. Additionally, Decof, Barry, Mega & Quinn is the only RI personal injury law firm to have two attorneys make the top 10.
Principal shareholder and senior trial lawyer Mr. Decof, is a founding partner of the firm, and has been actively engaged in litigation for more than 30 years. He has been included in the Top 10 Super Lawyers list since the ranking’s inception in 2007.
Mr. Barry, co-managing attorney, of Bristol, RI, joined the firm in 1997 and is recognized as an accomplished trial lawyer and patient safety advocate. The youngest among this year’s Top 10 Super Lawyers, he has been selected for the Super Lawyers list every year since 2010.

Mr. Chabot, of Providence, RI, joined the firm in 2010 as well, and similar to his colleagues, represents parents, children and families who have suffered unthinkable losses. He had also been selected as a Rising Star last year.
