Attorney

Hannah V. Colone is a personal injury lawyer of Decof, Mega & Quinn, P.C. She is known by other members of the firm and her clients alike as someone capable of solving complex legal issues through careful analysis and planning.

The first time that Attorney Colone argued in court was via Zoom during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although it was certainly unusual, looking back, she realized the experience was a pivotal moment in her career because it forced her to find success in even the most difficult of situations. It also solidified her passion for helping people in need of strong representation, even when that meant navigating virtual meetings during one of recent history’s most turbulent times.

Growing up in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, Hannah wanted to stay close to home for her higher education, so she began at the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then completed her JD at Roger Williams University School of Law, also earning the magna cum laude distinction.

Attorney Colone is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as state courts in New York. She is part of numerous professional associations, such as the Rhode Island Bar Association, Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association, Rhode Island Association for Justice, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and American Association for Justice.

When she is not working on a case, she likes to spend time with her husband and their son, often on a South County beach. She also spends many evenings curled up comfortably with her golden retriever while reading thriller novels. To stay active, Hannah likes to ice skate, and she even acts as a fill-in instructor now and then for a learn-to-skate program at the University of Rhode Island.
