Mark J. Brice is a highly skilled and accomplished trial attorney who has been representing severely injured children and families in medical malpractice, negligence, and product liability cases for over four decades. He joined the prestigious law firm, Decof, Mega & Quinn, P.C. in 2001 as a board-certified trial attorney by the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mark's dedication and passion for his work is evident in his successful track record. He, along with co-counsel Mark Decof, achieved a groundbreaking verdict in a medical malpractice case, which was the highest medical malpractice verdict and personal injury settlement in Rhode Island's history at the time.
Aside from his impressive legal accomplishments, Mark is also known for his willingness to share his knowledge and experience with others. He frequently conducts seminars and presentations on medical negligence and pediatric injuries for various organizations, including bar associations and parent support groups.
Mark's journey into the legal field began with his work as a courtroom and judicial clerk in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where he observed numerous civil jury trials. This experience helped shape his understanding of the justice system and provided him with the foundation for his legal career.
Mark was born on the U.S. Army base in Osaka, Japan, but spent most of his formative years in the U.S. mid-Atlantic region, moving frequently between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. After serving at a personal injury law firm for 18 years, he relocated to Rhode Island at the behest of his wife, a Rhode Island native, and joined the Decof law firm. He continues to focus his practice on catastrophic personal injury cases, utilizing his extensive experience and knowledge to represent those who have been most severely impacted by negligence and malpractice.
